Golden melons, also called sweet melons, are in season, so you can grab as many as you can.

Golden melon bowls are perfect for a refreshing, nutrient-packed breakfast.

Golden melons are low in calories, high in essential vitamins and minerals, contain almost no fat or saturated fat, thereby making them an excellent choice for snacks or a side dish.

They contain vitamins A and C.

So, today we are going to do a

1.Golden Melon Smoothie Bowl.

Ingredients

1/2 Golden Melon (remove seeds, scoop out flesh, and chop)

1/2 frozen banana.

1 banana, chopped.

1/4 cup nuts(of your liking)

Instructions

Toss the banana and chopped up melon into a blender. Blend until smooth.

Pour into melon shell.

Top with nuts and fruit.

Tomorrow morning, try out

2.Golden Melon Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

1/2 Golden Melon (remove seeds, scoop out flesh, and chop)

1 cup of oats (not instant/quick cooking)

2 cups of milk

1 apple (diced)

1 tbsp toasted Nigerian egusi melon seeds

Instructions

Mix oats, milk and apples in a bowl. Cover and leave overnight.

When ready to eat, remove oat mixture from fridge and mix in chopped melon.

Spoon into melon shell, and top with seeds and fruit.
