You Know You Must Exercise But You Dread It

In the recent past I have received messages, calls about weight loss, from many who are mentally lazy to start the process.

It is a myth that exercise is only to be practised by those who desire to lose weight.

Exercise is for every member of your family

I feel that when you realise you need to exercise and you are mentally dragging, something should be done about it.

Today, I will share on BENEFITS OF EXERCISE

The human body was designed to move.

Our body needs water, rest, food, and exercise to perform optimally.

When you are sedentary (rarely physically active), the body practically begins to deteriorate and age faster than it should.

1. Exercise could prevent or help manage prevalent heart diseases like hypertension, etc.

Ironically, exercise relieves the heart. The reason is that an inactive person’s heart works much harder than an active person’s heart.

A physically active person’s heart usually beats about 60 – 70 times or less per minute.

A physically inactive person’s heart usually beats 80 times or more per minute because it is still unconditioned.

2. Exercise helps manage stress. Regular exercise helps you feel less stressed.

3. Exercise promotes weight loss and decreases appetite.

Weight training and calisthenics are exercises that increase your muscle mass, and enables you to burn more fat.

It is the safest method of raising the rate at which your body converts food to energy.

4. Exercise increases sweating.

Sweating is one of the body’s ways of getting rid of waste products.

The skin has been called “the third kidney” because it releases so many toxin from the body.

5. Exercise improves your digestion and promotes frequent bowel movements.

After I drink water early in the morning and exercise, the loo is the next.

Exercise helps prevent constipation.
